As a parent, you want to prepare your kids for the “real” world as much as possible. You want to save them from making the same money mistakes you did.

We’ve all been there. As youngsters, we took out cash advance loans for last minute road trips and that Madonna concert we just “had” to go to. While those are some of the fondest memories of our youth, our twenties were spent eating ramen noodles to pay off those costly interest fees.  Unfortunately, financial education still isn’t taught in high school or college. So, where to begin? What sort of advice do you offer your kids? How do you prevent them from falling in the black hole of credit cards and payday loans?
